1.1 Information You Provide to Us:

  • Creator Profile Data: Niche, audience demographics, social media handles, media kit information, historical brand collaborations, pricing preferences.
  • Brand Account Data: Company name, team member contact info, marketing objectives, campaign budgets, targeting preferences.
  • Financial Information: Payment methods, payout details (e.g., PayPal, bank account), tax identification numbers.
  • Support Interactions: Any data shared through help tickets, live chat, or surveys.

1.2 Information We Collect Automatically:

  • Usage Data: Log files, browser type, referring/exit pages, IP address, device identifiers.
  • Engagement Metrics: Profile views, click-through rates, engagement trends, campaign participation history.
  • Platform Activity: Timestamped user actions (e.g., when you create a campaign, adjust pricing, send a pitch).
  • Cookies and Tracking: Cookies, web beacons, pixels (including third-party analytics and conversion tracking).

1.3 Information from Integrated Platforms:

  • OAuth Permissions: When you connect third-party platforms (e.g., Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn, Shopify), we collect data via APIs, such as follower count, engagement rate, sales attribution, video performance, and CRM entries.
  • Meta/Facebook Integration: In compliance with Meta’s Platform Policies, we ingest data necessary for analytics, conversion tracking, and profile verification. This may include your Instagram Business Account or Facebook Page insights, including impressions, interactions, and audience demographics.
  • LinkedIn Data Portability: Subject to your explicit consent, we import creator or brand professional profiles using LinkedIn’s Member Data Portability APIs for business onboarding, professional history, and credential verification.

1.4 Inferred or Derived Data:

  • AI-Powered Rate Intelligence: Using proprietary algorithms and machine learning models, we calculate dynamic price recommendations based on engagement quality, historical conversions, audience fit, and brand affinity.
  • Matching Intelligence: Our matching system uses real-time signals to connect brands with the most relevant creators based on campaign goals, audience similarity, and past performance benchmarks.

Meta Integration and Data Use

ChannelCore integrates with Meta’s developer platform (including Facebook and Instagram APIs) to enhance user experiences for creators and brands. Our integration allows users to connect their Meta accounts to ChannelCore for analytics, content insights, and streamlined campaign management.

  1. Data We Access from Meta
    When you connect your Meta account(s) to ChannelCore, we may access:
  • Basic account information (e.g., name, username, profile picture, email address).

  • Content performance metrics (e.g., impressions, reach, engagement).

  • Audience data (e.g., demographics, location, age ranges) — in aggregated and anonymized form where possible.

  • Public content and metadata as allowed by Meta’s API policies.

We only request the minimum amount of data required to provide our services and clearly communicate these permissions during the login process.

  1. How We Use Meta Data
    ChannelCore processes data obtained through Meta APIs to:
  • Display analytics and performance trends to creators within their ChannelCore dashboard.

  • Power Rate Intelligence™, helping creators benchmark and set fair pricing for brand deals.

  • Enhance SmartMatch™, our AI-driven creator-to-brand matching algorithm.

  • Support automated campaign tracking, reporting, and ROI measurement for brands.

  • Ensure compliance with brand safety and content performance verification.

We do not sell, license, or share user data from Meta with unauthorized third parties. All processing strictly adheres to Meta’s Platform Terms, Developer Policies, and applicable data protection laws.

  1. Compliance with Meta Platform Terms
    ChannelCore:
  • Processes Meta data only for the intended purpose disclosed at user login (e.g., analytics, matching, and campaign management).

  • Does not store or retain data longer than necessary to fulfill these purposes, unless required by law.

  • Provides users with the ability to disconnect their Meta account(s) and request deletion of all related data at any time.

  • Ensures that any service providers assisting with data processing (e.g., analytics infrastructure or hosting) comply with Meta’s data use requirements.

  1. User Rights with Meta Data
    Users can manage data permissions directly within their Meta account settings. Disconnecting Meta accounts will immediately stop ChannelCore’s access to new data, and users can request full deletion of stored data by contacting privacy@channelcore.io.

2. How We Use Your Information

We process your data to:

  • Provide and improve our services
  • Personalize platform experience based on role (e.g., creator vs. brand)
  • Match creators to brand campaigns using our algorithmic engine
  • Optimize pricing and campaign performance using rate intelligence
  • Facilitate financial transactions, invoices, and reporting
  • Conduct analytics and system monitoring
  • Prevent fraud and ensure platform integrity
  • Send platform updates, offers, marketing materials, and educational content
  • Fulfill legal obligations and enforce terms of service

3. How We Share Your Information

3.1 Third-Party Services: We share data with select third parties to operate and optimize ChannelCore:

  • Payment processors (e.g., Stripe, PayPal)
  • CRM and email service providers (e.g., Mailchimp, Customer.io)
  • Cloud hosting and infrastructure services (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud)
  • Conversion tracking and analytics tools (e.g., Meta Pixel, Google Analytics, LinkedIn Insight Tag)

3.2 Brands & Creators (Mutual Discovery): When brands and creators engage on the platform, select profile and performance data is shared to facilitate campaign planning and negotiation. This includes:

  • Creator performance data and pricing range
  • Brand campaign details and offer terms

3.3 Legal & Compliance: We may disclose data if required by law, subpoena, or if we believe such action is necessary to:

  • Protect and defend the rights or property of ChannelCore
  • Prevent fraud or abuse
  • Comply with legal obligations or regulatory authorities

4. Data Retention

We retain personal data as long as necessary for:

  • Providing and maintaining the platform
  • Fulfilling our legal and contractual obligations
  • Resolving disputes and enforcing agreements
  • Supporting historical reporting and analytics

Despite best efforts, no system is 100% secure. Users are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their login credentials.

We may send you platform updates, educational materials, and promotional content based on your role and behavior on the platform. You can manage your communication preferences or opt out at any time using the unsubscribe link in emails or by adjusting your account settings.

8. International Data Transfers

If you access ChannelCore from outside the United States, be aware that your data may be transferred to, stored, and processed in the U.S. or other jurisdictions. We rely on standard contractual clauses or other lawful mechanisms to ensure adequate data protection.
